The online quiz on the Arctic will be held among school students on November 21 on the ялюблюарктику.рф website, according to the website of the Northern (Arctic) Federal University named after M.V. Lomonosov. The quiz is held as part of the educational, competitive and outreach activities of the Big Arctic Expedition project organized for Russian students.

Any school student is welcome to take part in the competition. The first 40 students who will give correct answers to the questions will be the competition's winners. They will be invited to receive certificates from polar explorers. The winners will be informed about the date and venue of the award ceremony.

The aim of the Big Arctic Expedition project is to raise awareness among school students and the general public to the nation's environmental development and the Arctic's uniqueness. The region's importance will grow in the near future: its economy, technology and social sector will have a positive impact on Russia's progressive development.

The ялюблюарктику.рф site will also publish the nationwide themed lesson, Arctic — the Façade of Russia, during which specialists will discuss the most important and topical issues concerning the Arctic Region.
