St. Petersburg to host the International Arctic Forum in 2021

The Russian Government has resolved to hold The Arctic: Territory of Dialogue International Arctic Forum in St. Petersburg in 2021.

According to the directive published on the official legal information portal, the forum's organizing committee includes Governor of St. Petersburg Alexander Beglov, Acting Governor of the Nenets Autonomous Area Yury Bezdudny, Acting Head of the Komi Republic Vladimir Uiba, Governor of the Murmansk Region Andrei Chibis, Acting Governor of the Arkhangelsk Region Alexander Tsybulsky, Deputy Minister for the Development of the Russian Far East and Arctic Alexander Krutikov, Commander-in-Chief of the Navy Admiral Nikolai Yevmenov, Deputy Minister of Healthcare Oleg Salagai, Chief Economist of Vnesheconombank of Russia Andrei Klepach, and others.

The Arctic: Territory of Dialogue International Arctic Forum, which has been held since 2010, is a major platform for the discussion of pressing problems and development prospects of the Arctic with foreign partners.
