Human Capital Development Agency begins operating in the Arctic

The Human Capital Development Agency (HCDA), which provides skilled personnel to the regions of the Far East, is now operating in the Russian Arctic zone. A relevant directive was signed by Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev on Monday.

The document says that the autonomous non-profit organization, the Far East Human Capital Development Agency, should be renamed as the autonomous non-profit organization, the Far East and Arctic Human Capital Development Agency.

It was earlier reported that the agency will also develop a program to support the activities of the indigenous peoples of the North. According to the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East, this work will start at the beginning of 2020.
