The application process for Taimyr residents living in Dudinka and Norilsk and wishing to purchase subsidized housing in other Russian regions has closed. Selected applicants will receive relocation payments in 2024.

This year’s applicants wishing to relocate from the capital of the Polar region and surrounding towns include 361 families, or 343 retiree families, 17 families with people with disabilities and one working family.

“The list of relocation candidates has been submitted to the Ministry of Construction of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Social benefit recipients will be selected in February 2024,” the Press Service of the Government of Taimyr reports.

The average cost per square meter of housing in Russia, approved by an executive order of the Ministry of Housing and Construction, currently stands at 93,457 rubles. The rate will be used as a basis for calculating the amount of the relocation payments.
