President Vladimir Putin instructed the Government and the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs to consider the possibility of continuing offshore reloading of the liquefied natural gas (LNG) produced in the Russian Arctic.

“The Government of the Russian Federation and the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs national public organization shall discuss the possibility of continuing the reloading of liquefied natural gas, produced in the Russian Arctic area, from ship to ship,” the instructions stated, following a meeting with business circles on investment activity, published on the Russian Government website.

As stated, the report shall be presented by May 1, 2021.
