Andrei Chibis: Kola Peninsula will actively promote adventure tourism in 2023
Almost 27 million rubles have been allocated for promoting tourism in the Murmansk Region, Governor Andrei Chibis said at a meeting with members of the regional government.
“We will actively promote adventure tourism in the Kola Peninsula throughout 2023. We have set aside four million rubles from the regional budget for supporting tourism industry companies planning to work in this field. We will spend about 23 million rubles on creating and developing national tourist routes, including efforts to equip and improve them,” Chibis said.
Chairman of the Murmansk Regional Committee on Tourism Alexander Yeliseyev reported in great detail on measures to develop and support tourism projects throughout 2023.
